Vietnamese lacquerware and craftware is so beautiful that it makes it an ideal gift for any occasion.
Unfortunately the depth of the high gloss finish and vibrant colours do not replicate well on a website and cannot be
fully appreciated in the photographs but they will give you an indication of the styles and colours available.

We are very fortunate in that we have a family member who has settled in Ho Chi Minh City with his Vietnamese wife.
They source our products for us ensuring they use only outlets where the workers are rewarded fairly for their skills.
The art of creating these beautiful products is very complicated and hasn't changed for over 1000 years.
It is a very long process and can take up to 90 days to finish a single bowl. Each piece is unique -
there is no other piece exactly the same as yours. The process used to produce these products is 100% natural.
The lacquer is extracted from the rhus succadaneum tree and bamboo is used as it is very fast growing.
Recycled mother of pearl and eggshell is used to decorate.
All our products are functional and food friendly as well as decorative.
When using your lacquerware with food, clean with mild soap and warm water.
These products make wonderful gifts as they are so unusual. We have several customers
who keep coming back whenever they need a present for a special occasion.
We hope you like what you see and should you need any further information or advice
please either call us on 07970 784970 or email us at alison.constable@virgin.net
